What does this tool do?
It jumbles up your chosen Dolch Word List, and displays them one at a time for the selected number of seconds, until the list is completed.
How to use:
- Select a word list and time to display each word on screen.
- Load the list.
- (optional) Print a matching word list.
- Click Play.
- (optional) Go full screen on a desktop or laptop.
- (optional) Pause / resume playback at any time.
Why use Dolch Sight Words?
Making reading easier and more enjoyable for children from a young age is a wonderful thing – and with this one method you can make a marked difference very simply.
The Dolch Sight Words are without a doubt the most common set of sight words used today, and a child having learned to recognize these will make reading a book much easier for them. As they progress and get older you can introduce the more complex word lists, until the child reaches familiarity with all 220 of these most common words used.
