What is the SAST (South Australian Spelling Test)?
Widely used throughout Australia and New Zealand, the SAST is used to assess the spelling of 6 – 16 year olds.
First introduced in 1979, this spelling test can be used with an individual student, a classroom – or any other specific group of students.
Using the SAST we can quickly and easily assess the level of spelling ability in our classrooms.
